iOS 4 Releases Today

The latest version of Apple’s iOS 4 operating system for the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad will ship at some point later today. Updates include home screen background images, background processing on the 3GS, iPod 3rd gen and the new iPhone 4 to be released later this week.
It is unclear when the iOS 4 will be made public, 3.0 wasn’t released last year until around 10am pacific time.
