How to access Google Street View iPhone

Most iPhone users don’t realize that Google Street View iPhone is available on their device. It was added in one of the 3.0 updates to the device fairly quietly without much fanfare. Despite the lack of attention street view iPhone works very well and is a very nice addition to the iPhone.
Apple did a good job hiding Google Street View iPhone. To access it you need to lookup a location and click on the white and orange person on the left side of the map overlay.
You will be taken to street view at that location at which point you can move around the streets like you normally would in street view on the computer.

Google street view is incredibly good for getting a very good look at areas that you may never go to. Yet I understand that quite a few people do not like it because of the privacy issues.
Google have been getting bad press again for harvesting emails, passwords, personal details from open wifi setups while they were trawling for Street View. That was straight-up wrong of them and it’s becoming more difficult to understand what they mean now by ‘do no evil’…
